Concept Design Submission

Week 6 Progress

I quite like the sensory qualities of the tunnels, so I've decided to keep them as they are but dedicate different used to each tunnel. The first tunnel is an exhibition space that leads to the top of coal loader; the second a pedestrian only path; the third for bicycles, and finally tunnel 4 and its adjacent chambers will be used as art laboratories.

I have also been thinking about how to relate the bike paths more to to the experimental art spaces. The solution is to use the inherent level changes of site and place the art spaces on different levels for bike riders to visit. There will also be parking spaces next to each art space.
